Post by dan_s »

As of 9:30 AM CT per the Johns Hopkins website:

351,731 Confirmed Cases
100,432 People who have recovered. This is great news that won't be mentioned by your favorite cable news station.
-15,374 Death
-----------------
235,925 Active Cases
==================

Here is the real FUN FACT for today.

> The virus started in China, one of the world's most populated countries, about six months ago.
> China has the most confirmed cases of the virus, 81,496 as of this morning at 9:30 AM.
> China also has the most number of people that have fully recovered, 72,819: an increase of 1,457 since last evening.
> China has also reported 3,274 deaths:, an increase of 9 since last evening.
> The number of active cases in China peaked at around 42,000 in late February, four weeks ago.
> The number of active cases in China has been dropping daily since February 25 and now sits at 5,403.

Considering the fact that China's population density is more than 4X higher than the population density in the United States, wouldn't it be logical that if COVID-19 is a super contagious disease that China would have more difficulty controlling it?

Now I realize that most of you believe that China never tells the truth (unlike our government), but South Korea and Japan are also reporting a decline in the active cases. Is everyone in Asia lying to us?

The media was all about reporting daily the number of cases in China when they were rising, but they no longer report it since it doesn't fit the narrative that "WE ARE ALL GOING TO DIE".

FEAR is a powerful human emotion. However, when I do a little research it usually lowers the level of fear, at least it does for me. Remember when you were a kid and you thought a boggyman was under your bed. When you got the courage to get out of bed and look, the fear went away.
