Callon Petroleum (CPE) leads the Sweet-16 pack and is now up more than 100% year-to-date. A few Wall Street Gang members that bad mouthed the Company for their merger with Carrizo Oil & Gas in 2019 now have some explaining to do. Granted, the timing of the deal was bad, but it is going to payoff big for the shareholders this year. If Callon’s Q1 2021 results match my forecast, my valuation will go to over $50 share because my current valuation is only X2 operating cash flow per share. That multiple is way too low for a company with this much running room. We will be publishing an updated profile on Callon next week.
