Unique Exposure to Emerging Exploration & CCS - Michael S. Scialla
We met with management this week at Enercom's Oil and Gas conference. Our conversation centered on TALO's vision to play a key role in the energy transition while expanding its conventional oil and gas assets via exploration and accretive acquisitions. The company's CCS JV appears to be rapidly evolving from an ESG friendly concept to a viable, complimentary business. TALO has meaningful exposure to three emerging deepwater GOM exploration plays, each of which could materially impact our NAV estimate. While Covid concerns are weighing on E&P stocks, we believe TALO's unique exposure to emerging CCS opportunities and conventional exploration plays and will reward long-term investors.
