India Wants More Coal to Meet Demand.
India’s largest utility firm NTPC (NSE:NTPC) is ramping up domestic coal production and increasing overall coal imports as most power plants’ forward stock cover has dropped to single-digit territories, compelling large players to expand their coal inventories.

As I discussed during my interview on the Financial Sense Network last week, the US cannot do a thing about rising global carbon emissions because China and India are NOT going to reduce their burning of coal for power generation.
