I will open today's webinar with a brief update on why oil and gas prices have almost double from a year ago and why they are likely to go higher.

Our "Energy Sector Expert" today will be Bob Howard, a long-time EPG member and the Founder & President of Resource Royalty LLC that is based in Dallas.

After Bob's presentation I will be back on for Q&A. You can ask me about any of the companies in our model portfolios.

We have three minerals companies in the EPG High Yield Income Portfolio. They are all generating lots of Distributable Cash Flow (DCF), which is operating cash flow less capital expenditures for maintenance.

Black Stone Minerals LP (BSM) is an MLP that gets more than half of its revenues from the sale of natural gas and NGLs.

Brigham Minerals (MNRL) is a C-Corp that gets most of its royalties from oil sales.

Viper Energy Partners LP (VNOM) has elected to be taxed as a C-Corp. Viper was created by Diamondback Energy (FANG), a pure play on the Permian Basin, which is one of the "Elite Eight" in our Sweet 16.

Minerals or "Royalty Companies" have very low cash expenses and payout a high percentage of their DCF, which fluctuates with commodity prices.
