On this weekend's Saturday Summary here https://www.weatherbell.com/premium/ Joe Bastardi shows us why the weather patterns are showing a return of very cold temperatures and lots of snow to the eastern U.S. starting February 16 and lasting through first half of March.
If Joe is right, we should see the price of the MAR25 NYMEX contract for natural gas drift back up toward $3.50 by next week.
The European weather forecast is already agreeing with Joe. The U.S. forecast should pick this up in a few days.
All we need is average weather in February and March for U.S. natural gas in storage to be below the 5-year average at the end of March.
