Heliospace (part of Helio Corporation, OTC:HLEO) has recent major news: on January 6, 2026, they announced a new strategic push into Space-Based Solar Power (SBSP) to provide continuous clean energy from orbit, alongside appointing a new CEO (Edward Cabrera) and Chairman on January 5, 2026, signaling a new growth phase. Previously, in late 2025, they converted founder loans to equity to strengthen their balance sheet, and earlier in 2025, they had successful hardware deployments on NASA's Europa Clipper and lunar missions, plus a NASA SBIR award.

In essence, Heliospace (Helio Corp) is pivoting towards large-scale space energy solutions, underpinned by recent leadership changes and strengthened finances, building on previous successes in lunar and deep space.
