Susan & I go to Puerto Vallarta, Mexico several times a year. We have several friends that live there.
Here is a note from Dave at Ocho Cascadas, a very unique place to stay: https://www.ochocascadas.com/
We are very pleased to report that Puerto Vallarta has rebounded from the unfortunate circumstance of last Sunday with nearly complete recovery of normal services. Rosario, our General Manager, reports that the Vallarta airport is back to full service, with scheduled flight resuming on Tuesday. Banks and gas stations have re-opened, as have restaurants. Taxi services are fully available. And perhaps the best sign of returning “normalcy” is that schools reopened for classes today.
The Jalisco State Turismo also reports that bus routes, and even tour boat excursions on Banderas Bay, are back in service.
And at our Ocho Cascadas resort, the staff has responded remarkably to ensure that the facility continues to operate in a normal capacity, providing our members and guests with the same quality Ocho experience.
Given the unprecedented circumstance of last Sunday, this remarkable recovery is a testament to the resilience of the residence of Puerto Vallarta.
Puerto Vallarta is safe again
