Whiting Takeover Rumors

WLL spiked this morning on rumors that Statoil is about to offer $65/share. IMO that would be a very good deal for Statoil.

Statoil denies the rumor but that may only mean they are still working on it.

This could draw other bids. Read our recent profile on the company and you will see why this one would be very attractive for any major.
