Energy Secretary Ernest Moniz has suggested that it may be time for the Obama administration to reconsider the nation’s ban on exporting domestically produced crude oil.

We will soon have more light sweet crude oil production in the U.S. than our refineries can take. Increasing exports would close the gap between WTI and Brent and it would do wonders for our trade deficit.
