My guess is that the folks at Farmers Almanac know that man-made Global Warming is total BS, just an excuse to raise taxes on the sheep. The world is now cooling. See the Joe Bastardi weekend update at www.weatherbell.com where he proves it. Polar ice is now approaching record levels.

The amount of water vapor in the atmosphere is the primary "greenhouse gas" and it has 100X more impact on surface temps than CO2. Plus, the "manmade" part of CO2 in the atmosphere is VERY SMALL.

What bugs me is that now that all the Global Warming BS has been proven, the politicians that lied about it are not held accountable. Al Gore is still rich because of all the lies. "Climate Change" is real, but man has very little to do with it.

As I tell the students during my presentations at SMU and Rice, it is best to remember that politicians lie a lot. They just care about being re-elected. It is just about the money for the vast majority of those in elected office. I tell young people to do their own research and reach their own conclusions about the world. Never base your beliefs on what is coming out of Washington. Don't be one of the sheep!

i'm glad to hear someone else use the water vapor argument--there is actually 25 times the amount of water vapor in the atmosphere than co2. co2 is actually listed as a trace element by most sources.
