Active Rig Count - April 29

The North American Active Rig count continues to fall to a new low each week.

U.S. Breakdown:
> Rigs drilling for oil declined by 11 to 332, compared to 1,609 in October, 2014 (the peak) and 679 a year ago.
> Rigs drilling for gas declined by 1 to 87, compared to 222 a year ago.

Canada
> Rigs drilling for oil declined by 2 to 10
> Rigs drilling for gas declined by 1 to 26

The big decline in active rig count since the first of this year will show up this summer in an acceleration of declining production.
