The EIA estimates that US natural gas consumption could average 76.4 Bcf per day in 2016 and 77.1 Bcf per day in 2017. US natural gas consumption averaged 75.2 Bcf per day in 2015. < This does not include exports, which are 4.5 to 5.0 Bcf per day.
