The North American active rig count increase by 15 last week.

United State:
> Rigs drilling for oil increased by 4 to 432, compared to 595 a year ago and 1,609 in October, 2014 (the peak)
> Rigs drilling for gas increased by 11 to 105, compared to 192 a year ago

Canada;
> Rigs drilling for oil increased by 3 to 90, compared to 76 a year ago
> Rigs drilling for gas declined by 3 to 75, compared to 105 a year ago

Texas (244) and Oklahoma (73) account for 59% of the rigs drilling in the United States, including the Gulf of Mexico.
