Raymond James on 12/27/2016: "In February, Continental unveiled a preliminary STACK type curve with a 1,700 Mboe EUR and $10 million completed well cost (9,800' lateral). During 3Q16, CLR reported target costs of $8.5 million per well. Further delineation could provide upside to our NAV."
"Devon Energy (DVN) recently raised its 2016 capital spending program by $200 million, with incremental activity focused in the STACK and Delaware Basins. The largest portion of spending will be in the STACK, with 37% of the total capital spending budget."
"Newfield Exploration (NFX) raised it STACK SXLs (super extended laterals) type curve to 1.1 MMboe, up from the previous 950 Mboe type curve. Newfield aims to potentially achieve further upside with regard to resource recovery by optimizing lateral placement, drilling longer laterals, and testing emerging completion technology (i.e., diverters)."
